The 2005 – 2013 metaphor has been used 3 or 4 times this Media Future Week. But we weren’t the only ones. Big brother (Google) was watching us. Since in their I/O presentation they used the exact same metaphor.
It is not about what you see (or read), since clearly everyone reads (and sees) the Huffington Post (source of the pictures). It is about what you do with it. I haven’t heard anyone concluding that maybe the picture of 2005 was taken a bit before the ceremonies.
With our concept we are gazing at the same picture everyone is. Concluding that everyone is right. Competition is not about being right or telling the truth, but about being more right and finding more truth in the obvious.
